SpeedQueen

Washing Machines & Dryers

Drive/motor fault codes Unplugged or failed motor, open tachometer circuit, or locked drum

Overflow / leak error Possible leak detected — power off and inspect before running again
Motor thermal error Motor overheated — usually from an overloaded or unbalanced drum
Fill/pressure sensor error Washer failed to reach fill level, or the pressure sensor isn’t reading correctly

SpeedQueen uses different code sets across classic dial-timer top loaders, digital top loaders and front loaders. Send us your model plate and the exact code shown and we’ll confirm the fault before your appointment.

KIC

Most KIC appliances are built without a digital fault-code display and instead show symptoms directly — the appliance simply won’t fill, drain, cool, or spin correctly. Here’s how to read the most common KIC symptoms:

Symptom Likely Cause
Washing machine won’t drain Clogged pump or kinked drain hose
Fridge not cooling Thermostat, compressor or blocked condenser coils
Freezer icing up excessively Defrost element/timer failure or worn door seal
Washing machine won’t spin Worn drive belt or faulty lid/door switch
Dryer runs but no heat Failed heating element or thermostat

If your specific KIC model does show a numeric or lettered code, send us a photo on WhatsApp and we’ll identify it against the model’s manual.
